Khata kab launch ho raha hai?

Khata abhi build mein hai. Pehle 100 shops ke liye early-access soon. Reserve karne ke liye email rajkumar.nr@gmail.com with subject "Khata early access". Early-access shops ko launch ke baad 3 months free milenge.

Khata aur YesBOS — kya same hai?

YesBOS was the original brand sold as a Soundbox-hardware-bundle. Khata is the software-only continuation under the Laabha platform — currently in build. When Khata launches, existing YesBOS Soundbox users get free migration (your hardware will keep working). See the YesBOS migration block below for the planned migration policy.

Khata launch ke baad setup mein kitna time?

5 minutes (planned). Download from Play Store / App Store → sign up with mobile number → OTP → grant mic permission → position phone near your Soundbox. Early-access shops get personal setup help on a video call.

Khata kya offline kaam karega?

Haan — designed offline-first. Sare entries phone mein local store honge, encrypted. Voice + photo entries internet ke bina bhi chalengi. Acoustic Sync hamesha offline kaam karega (Soundbox listening local hai).

Multi-shop owner hoon. Khata mein kya?

Launch pe ek phone-number = ek shop. Multi-shop owner ke liye dedicated feature Q4 2026 ke target par hai. Workaround tab tak: alag-alag phone numbers se separately Khata setup karo per shop.

For CA firm partners

Will my articles still have work to do?

Yes. The work changes. Today they type vouchers. Tomorrow they review AI-mapped vouchers, handle exceptions, and start doing analysis work that earned a CA designation in the first place. Firms that adopt Laabha typically reassign articles to higher-margin advisory work within 3-6 months.

How does my reviewing partner verify the AI didn't mess up?

Every voucher carries an audit ID in its narration. Click the ID, see exactly why the AI mapped it that way — which layer (your rule, your historical pattern, AI), what confidence score, who edited it. Partners report review goes faster, not slower.

Can multiple seniors at my firm use the same Laabha account?

Yes. CA Firm Annual includes multi-seat access. Each senior signs in with their own email; conversations are private per-user but mapping rules and audit history are shared at the client level.

What's my client's Tally data being used for?

Only the specific data needed for the job you ran. Laabha doesn't background-sync, doesn't train an external AI model on your client's data. Bank statements you upload are processed for that import and deleted from our cache within 24 hours.

For MSME owners

Do I need to know what TallyPrime ports and ngrok are?

No — your CA or IT person handles the 10-minute setup once. After that, Laabha is a chat window where you drop bank statements. Bring your CA on the demo call and we'll do setup together.

Will my bank statements end up on a server in the US?

Bank statements are processed by Laabha servers in Mumbai (AWS Lightsail, Indian data center). The AI processing uses Anthropic (US-hosted) and Google Gemini (multi-region) — only the text of the bank statement is sent. After processing, the statement file is deleted from our cache within 24 hours.

What if I don't trust AI with money?

Two safety mechanisms: (1) the AI Accountant always generates a preview that you review before anything is posted to Tally — nothing happens without your explicit click. (2) Every voucher carries an audit ID so your CA can verify any mapping decision later.

For technical evaluators

What AI models does Laabha use?

Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.6 for agent loops + bank-statement mapping. Claude Opus 4.7 for complex inputs that need deeper reasoning. Google Gemini 3.1 Pro / 2.5 Flash for OCR on scanned PDFs.

Where does the AI processing happen?

Anthropic API (US data centers) for Claude. Google Gemini API (multi-region) for OCR. Your TallyPrime data does NOT go to the AI provider — only the specific text passages needed for the current job.

How does the Tally bridge work technically?

A small Windows executable on your machine wraps ngrok. The ngrok URL points to localhost:9000 (TallyPrime's XML server). Laabha calls the ngrok URL with TallyPrime XML envelopes; ngrok forwards to localhost; Tally responds. Total round-trip 200-800ms.

What happens during an Anthropic / Google API outage?

Bank-statement parsing (Tier 1 + Tier 2) is deterministic and doesn't need AI. Mapping needs Anthropic; if Anthropic is down, layers 1-3 still run and the rest is queued for manual mapping. OCR needs Gemini; digital PDFs work fine without it.

For finance / commercial buyers

Can I get a GST invoice for credit top-ups?

Yes. GST invoices auto-generated for every top-up. Add your GSTIN in Settings → Billing. If yours doesn't arrive, email rajkumar.nr@gmail.com with the order ID.

Will prices ever change?

We'll give 30 days' notice for any change. Whatever model you signed up under, we honor it through the commitment period.

Refund policy?

Unused PAYG credits refundable within 30 days of last top-up, minus payment-gateway charges (~2%). Khata: full refund within 7-day trial, pro-rated for unused months on cancellation.

YesBOS migration

For everyone who bought the YesBOS Soundbox hardware bundle before May 2026.

What's changing?

YesBOS the brand is sunset. The product (Acoustic Sync + Voice Ledger + Receipt OCR) lives on as Khata under the Laabha platform. Software-only going forward — we're no longer selling the Soundbox hardware bundle.

My YesBOS Soundbox hardware — will it still work?

Yes. Your Soundbox keeps working exactly as it did. Khata will pick up the same Soundbox announcements when it launches. No re-pairing — install Khata, sign in with the same mobile number, your data carries over.

Did I pay for the YesBOS hardware bundle — do I get credit?

Yes. Every existing YesBOS hardware customer gets free Khata for an extended period at launch — duration scales with which bundle you bought. Auto-applied when you sign into Khata with your YesBOS mobile number.

My YesBOS data — is it safe? Does it migrate?

Your YesBOS data was stored locally on your phone. On first sign-in to Khata, the app reads your YesBOS local store and migrates it into Khata's data model — same data, new app.

Why did you sunset YesBOS the brand?

One unified platform with growing capabilities serves customers better than two separate brands. The product gets simpler to evolve, sell, and support.
